Text Box: The role of Architect continues to evolve from being a master builder into that of being one part of a creative team assembled by an educated Client for the purpose of constructing shelter; places of business, worship, entertainment, education, or governance.  In that role, we continually strive to provide our Clients with an individualized combination of Quality, Quantity, and Financial Return.
Along with building design and document preparation, our normal scope of services includes: site layout / master planning, architectural programming, architectural renderings, code reviews, and computer generated 3d modeling.
The following methods of compensation are commonly applied to our work:
A stipulated, fixed fee, in written form,  based upon a clearly defined scope of work presented to and negotiated with our Client.
A stipulated, fixed fee in written form, based upon a clearly defined quantity of work. (i.e. cost per square foot, cost per unit, etc.)

Text Box: Jim McKibben, a Principal of McKIBBEN ARCHITECTS, LLC has been involved in construction and the practice of architecture since  1967. His range of project experience includes Commercial/Retail, Educational, Governmental, Industrial, Ecumenical, and Residential projects for both Design/Build and conventional methods of project delivery.  Jim holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Education from Indiana State University, a B.S. degree in Environmental Design from Ball State University and, a B.Arch. degree from Ball State University.  Included  within those years of  architectural experience, Jim has 12 years of industrial facilities management and maintenance experience at multiple automotive component manufacturing facilities in Muncie, IN and Seneca, SC.
